Damn what a game. If I were still a betting man I'd have put my money on Alabama. This is why I'm not a betting man anymore.

Does it make sense that the two eastern teams play during the day in sunny southern California, and then the two western teams play late at night in Louisiana?

I wondered that exact same thing. two time zones different and yet the New Orleans game kicks off after 7 pm. It just seemed ass backwards to me. Plus the fact the last game, with a start time of almost 8PM Central , wouldn't even end until 1AM Eastern on a work night. How does that help the ratings.

Michigan seems legit, but Bama was off this year. Washington seems tough but they seem have a little softer D. It will be close. I don't see either team running away with this. Line seems right where it should be. Guess you take the points right?

How much faith do you have in that old saying "Defense wins championships."?
Michigan is habitually and consistently overrated. This years seems different though and that defense is for real. If I have to choose I think Michigan covers.
