Can I just say

All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.
It can get NSFW-ish here: you have been warned!

If the house is 1200 sf. and there are 3 bedrooms, a kitchen/dining, and living room. And I went with a 2 indoor system with 15,000 btu for each, would they be able to sufficiently heat/cool adjacent rooms? I'm not sure if I am asking that right, but if the wall unit was in the living room, would it heat/cool an adjacent bedroom comfortably or would one of the two rooms be colder or hotter than the other?
The capacity is probably not an issue.
The air flow might be though.
As I've explained to folks over the years, you can't train air.
With the bedroom doors open, some of the cooling or heating will migrate to those places.
If you close one for privacy, that negates that possibility.
The location of the remote will determine what temperature it is monitoring.

Whatever you do, don't consider Fujitsu, they are garbage.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. You know older homes and they weren't exactly built with an "open air" concept. Each room is very isolated except for a door.

That said, other than the cost, how much trouble is it to have a few more zones (more wall units) with one outdoor condensor so that you have more control over each room? I could easily split it up into 4 zones of 7,000 btu each. I just couldn't access them all from one side of the house.

Can also mount thru wall fans to move air from rooms with units to rooms that don't

You'll obviously have more initial cost, but likely have happier guests.
The more indoor units you add, may require a manifold to link them all together.
That makes the installation a little trickier than say a basic 2 zone set up.
Without seeing the floor plan, it's hard to say exactly what would work best for your scenario.
Based on your description, a multi headed system would likely work best in the long run.

I actually do recall it.
After meeting him in person, I feel confident he can pull it off.

Sounds like you've had an awesome couple of years.
Congrats!

I'm slowly working my way out of my A/C company.
Got a couple of younger guys who've been with me for 25+ years slowly taking over.
I still have a little over a year left, but looking forward to retirement and more time at the ranch.

Still making a few knives which keeps me from driving the wife too crazy.
Glad to hear!

How has the pandemic been for business anyway, I'd imagine people working from home finally realizing their climate control sucks would benefit your market.

It has been interesting to say the least.
Last early spring people were hesitant to have the service or installation guys in the house.
Once summer hit and temperatures climbed, they were damn happy to have them in when the A/C went down.
