Agree. Hell, the manufactured homes I've seen the last 20 years have been damn impressive. My point is a lot of people ragged on SMurph for 10 years. And not a pepe for stapes. He seems a prime target. Thus this thread.

Im held in high esteem by my fellow UJR's. Your trying too hard.

Actually the new Manufactured homes built to standards with massive tie downs are as solidly built as any frame house on a solid foundation. Neither is going to survive a substantial tornado or hurricane, though for the most part.

 And what's this "truce " you mentioned last night? I've never had anything but respect for you as a quality poster. Oh, and you need to tamp down the "Medium esteem" to like "kinda sorta not sure maybe" respected.

I have a concrete block ranch that survived a direct hit from hurricane Charlie (Cat 4, 2004, Florida) and came out unscathed. The local trailer parks didn't do as well. They must have been older construction so I'm glad to hear that the newer building codes with "massive tie downs" as you state are holding up better.

Hopefully Stapes has the newer construction you speak of.

He was going to move to a motel up the coast during Dorian because I believe his words were something like " The roof isn't made of tin". SMurph would have a tear in the corner of eyes at those sentiments.

That truce has now ended fucker :beavisbutthead:
Ooh, I'm all scared. Are you a nihilst or something? So, those wheels on your house. Do they come in handy when you get 3 months behind on the rent and have to flee to the adjacent county?
Nihilist?

Did you mean to use that word?

I take it you have never seen the "Big Lebowski" that Stapes AV is based on.

Arrested Development would be a good name for a safe space on the board.

It would get a fair amount of traffic.........

And here I thought "Arrested Development " was the name of the biography detailing RD's life.

Don't confuse him anymore than he already is.

The Maori has a word for autism, 'takiwatanga', meaning 'his or her own time and space'
