Im held in high esteem by my fellow UJR's. Your trying too hard.
Actually the new Manufactured homes built to standards with massive tie downs are as solidly built as any frame house on a solid foundation. Neither is going to survive a substantial tornado or hurricane, though for the most part.FreakShowFanatic wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 8:42 pmuntil a tornado or hurricane hits and they get smashed to smithereens.
I have a concrete block ranch that survived a direct hit from hurricane Charlie (Cat 4, 2004, Florida) and came out unscathed. The local trailer parks didn't do as well. They must have been older construction so I'm glad to hear that the newer building codes with "massive tie downs" as you state are holding up better.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 9:17 pmActually the new Manufactured homes built to standards with massive tie downs are as solidly built as any frame house on a solid foundation. He was going to move to a motel up the coast during Dorian because I believe his words were something like " The roof isn't made of tin". SMurph would have a tear in the corner of eyes at those sentiments.FreakShowFanatic wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 9:20 pmI have a concrete block ranch that survived a direct hit from hurricane Charlie (Cat 4, 2004, Florida) and came out unscathed. Hopefully Stapes has the newer construction you speak of.

I take it you have never seen the "Big Lebowski" that Stapes AV is based on.Wut wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 10:11 pmNihilist?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 8:33 pmOoh, I'm all scared.
