That is sad. I used to love his Mr. Rogers parody on SNL.

I still listen to his “I love a rainy night” song. He’ll be missed.

Damn, that's ironic. Just yesterday, working out in the field in my truck listing to Sirius radio. heard 3 different EM songs on different stations in about 45 minutes and wondered in my head how he was doing.

"Take me Home Tonight" with that female back ground singer and the sax rift is classic.

"Shakin'" was the only song from him that I liked, and mainly because of the awesome lead guitar work.
Agreed, put out like 11 albums, maybe 4-6 massive hits in the 80's. Not like McCartney passed or anything. Anyone know if any of his songs hit #1?
Nope, here's the list of his top hits:
Eddie Money's Biggest Billboard Hot 100 Hits
1, "Take Me Home Tonight," No. 4, Nov. 15, 1986
2, "Walk on Water," No. 9, Dec. 24, 1988
3, "Peace in Our Time," No. 11, Feb. 10, 1990
4, "I Wanna Go Back," No. 14, March 14, 1987
5, "Think I'm in Love," No. 16, Sept. 18, 1982
6, "Baby Hold On," No. 11, June 10, 1978
7, "Endless Nights," No. 21, June 27, 1987
8, "The Love in Your Eyes," No. 24, March 18, 1989
9, "Two Tickets to Paradise," No. 22, Sept. 9, 1978
10, "Maybe I'm a Fool," No. 22, April 7, 1979

Shit man, now I really feel old. I remember rocking to Two Tickets to Paradise on the jukebox at the Water Boggan game room, playing pinball and chasing girls as a teenager.

Thanks, I see his biggest hit (#4 was the one I posted). WTF- "Two Tickets" only hit #22. I find that hard to believe. My own research. Edit-22. Damn that's hard to believe.

BTW, if you're wondering why that lady looks familiar, it's Patricia Kotero, better known as Apollonia, the lead in Prince's "Purple Rain."

As you can see, while we are attempting to celebrate a lifetime of musical achievement, a certain "Anal- retentive" can't give it up. It's really pathetic.

Dude. I'm saying you are too young to even know who Eddie Money is. Stop it. You are looking more foolish by the day. I understand there may be some Lady Gaga/ Taylor Swift posts soon. More your speed.
