Can we talk hummingbirds

Fascinating creatures. I know they are migratory, tropical, semi-tropical. I'm so far south, they are around from early March-late October. I just wondered how far north they spread during the Summer. I figured this was the place to get that answer.

I'm more curious about the Gregorian Chant Bird, or the Operich. They are both very rare but I've heard the operich had quite a range.

Well, we already knew these magnificent creatures would never want anything to with "shithole" Canada. Amazingly like humans.

Thanks, I don't think their lifespan is very long, so they must breed pretty prolific in the Spring/ Summer to cover a good chunk of N America with Billions of individuals.

I make a special blend for my feeder. They seem to like it. I have not 2,3 or 4, but 5 fighting over it sunup to sundown the last few days. Maybe it's just knowing in their biological memory that the time to migrate south is several weeks away, time to fatten up, like all the birds do.

Holy crap. What kind of bird is that? Looks wingless. The intelligent eyes are amazing.Seems to possess more inane knowledge of the World than RD and Smoke combined. You know since they have to rely on the internet to make up for their educational shortcomings. Can't fix Stupid.
