I believe on later releases or "remasters" they included it. I think they threw "Hey, Hey What Can I do" in there as well.

Ah, I see. I've still got my early '80's pressing of Coda, as well as the CD release from a few years later. Somewhere, I still have my 45 of "Immigrant Song" b/w "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do?".

Not actually a remake. The song wasn't completed until Secor finished writing it.

"Wagon Wheel" is a song co-written by Bob Dylan and Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show. Dylan recorded the chorus in 1973; Secor added verses 25 years later. Old Crow Medicine Show's final version was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in April 2013.

Kinda a cover, but I think better than the original. Anderson East has an amazing voice, and Daryl compliments it so well. Daryl has discovered a way to keep older music relevant to a younger generation.

You are mistaken in both these assessments. I don't even need to listen to them. They are iconic songs from the 70's and I won't sit by idly while you sully them with some new bastardized version of my youth.

I agree the Barracuda cover was very good, but I don't think it exceded the original vocally, maybe just matched it.

I'm a huge fan of NOFX (mostly up to Punk in Drublic) and Lagwagon but I think I prefer John Denver's version.

This is my favorite version.
