You’ll be producing 1.21 gigawatts in no time.necronomous wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 4:09 pmIt was the Doc and Marty package.Wut wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 4:07 pmI never new solar panels came with a time travel option.necronomous wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 4:03 pm. I didn’t see it in the thread. Did you get a battery backup? If not, for a few grand you’ll have usable solar power when there’s an outage. Otherwise ur stuck like everybody else.necronomous wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 3:51 pmNo I don't believe so. If I remember the way they explain it, it's in the box on the side of the house.Charliesheen wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 3:31 pmThat was a brutal bill you were paying. The company’s work was tip-top. Never, ever a complaint. We were just double what other companies charged for the same equipment.necronomous wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:01 am Quick update. Activated in January. Have not paid for electricity since. Paid the first hookup fee(standard monthly for just being connected to the grid since no batteries yet) of 16$ this month. So far so good.
Did you go with micro-inverters?

Yeah no, for now I'm stuck. I do have a generator, but no batteries right now. The panels were already 33k. We have to wait on the batteries.Charliesheen wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 8:45 pmI didn’t see it in the thread. Did you get a battery backup? One Powerwall and that gives you the buffer you need to use your solar to near capacity. IIRC you have enough panels to generate 30 amps? That could keep a small AC system going.
Need a transfer switch and whatnot.

I didn't want to focus on how he got the meaning of quick update wrong when the 2 year thing was more baffling. Besides, he is the smartest one up here.Smok44 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 2:28 amWhat part of "Quick Update" do you not understand sand flea?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:36 am"Quick Update" from an almost 2 year old thread?. So, it's been one year and some change. My first year, I spent 0$ on the electricity and ~160 for the hookup fee.
Then, for January and February this year I spent ~ 180, plus the 15 ish hook up fee each month. So far, so good.

If you really believed in man made climate change you would move into something more energy efficient and invest in renewablesStapes wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 4:35 pmI live in a trailer down by the river.Biker wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 3:17 pmMeanwhile, Capt Stapes continue to use inefficient sources of power while driving trucks and V8 sports cars.
