Why a fad diet? Why not just determine what your basal metabolic rate is and eat less calories than that? You will lose wait and you can eat whatever you want.
I'm doing that too, but doing this because I heard it helps with sweet cravings.

After the potato started to become a major food item in Europe in the 17th-18th century, a couple of scientists decided to experiment by eating nothing but potatoes for 2 1/2 months to check out it's nutritional value. Mashed, gruel, baked, etc. After something like 68 days, no weight gain or loss, perfect bowel movements, no health side effects. Perfect food.

Really? I thought it had too many carbs and would make you fat. That's all they say about it in the US these days.

17th-18th Centuries. Massive famines due to crop failures. Called the "Little Ice Age".Killed Greenland after 600 years. Looking for other crops. The Thames iced over solid for 5 months. Built bonfires on the river.

Literally just drooled. I've been pooping pure vodka for about 24 hours.
