I found these two under a rock in my backyard. I know the brown one is a common yard snake. Not sure about the other one though.

Years ago I was weed-whacking my backyard and I pretty much whipped a fucking gardner snake in half. I felt bad, so I folded it back together and put a piece of duct tape around the wound. I'm pretty sure he healed up nice.
