99% recovery rate.

Re: 100,000
All numbers can be manipulated to make whatever case your trying to make. The statistics are meaningless. The amount of testing, where people are being tested is so scatter shot that its lost its purpose. Right now the Case Fatality Rate in the U.S. is 5.9%...…….that is horrible......and I know that it its lower because we've only tested a fraction of people in this country. I agree MSNBC and CNN are being disingenuous in their presentations of new cases while FOX just ignores the whole thing.

USA was the richest and most resourceful nation in the world. Why are you happy with 9 from the bottom? Why not first and leading the way?

Webmd.com is not the CDC as was claimed. I would like to see where the CDC says 99.7%. I've tried looking all around the CDC site, but haven't seen that number anywhere.BigRedRetard wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 6:23 pm Coronavirus Recovery Rates
Scientists and researchers are constantly tracking infections and recoveries. But they have data only on confirmed cases, so they can’t count people who don’t get COVID-19 tests. Experts also don’t have information about the outcome of every infection. However, early estimates predict that the overall COVID-19 recovery rate is between 97% and 99.75%

For the record, I did live in your country for a year when I was a kid. Looking back I never realised how messed up it was as a kid. But looking back now, I'm glad my parents moved back to the sanity, comfort, and true freedom of Canada. And by "true freedom" I mean we are not paranoid of our government. They are not going to come and take our guns and throw us in FEMA camps. We are not a military state, who is run by lobbyists and big corporations. I have no desire to ever go back to your country for a visit, let alone ever move there.

Re: 100,000
If people make claims, then back up the claims. Otherwise I am going to say that 99.7% of people who get covid 19 recover, is bullshit. If someone can link to a CDC statement saying 99.7% recover, then I will admit I was wrong.BigRedRetard wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 6:32 pmKeep looking.kwebber wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 6:32 pmWebmd.com is not the CDC as was claimed. It's pretty simple as far as I can see. Take the number of people who have had covid 19 and have had an outcome. Either they have recovered, or they have died. Not current active cases, because they haven't had an outcome yet. Don't include people who never had the virus. Only cases that have had the virus, and had an outcome of recovery or death.

I can't really blame you, you have it pretty good. You have a military superpower protecting your only real border with civilization. You have free trade with the greatest economy on the globe. You are kind of like those little birds that ride on the backs wildlife taking handouts and staying protected. And in return all you have to do is turn out a few comedians and a Pam Anderson every few years.Evil.Fkn.Mean,Nasty wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 6:59 pmI was trying to come up with a response, but Kwebber nailed it. I am fully aware that is the way most Americans see us. And thats fine. We dont have this bravado ego that makes us pull out our dick every chance we can. So all is I can say is "Thanks USA" for making us so awesome.Flumper wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 8:00 pmI can't really blame you, you have it pretty good. Re: 100,000
USA population probably equals germany-austria-france-spain-italy-portugal-Benelux combined. so comparing it to other countries is meaningless. find out % of death per 1 million people or cases per 1 mill or recovered per 1 million would be more accurate.
