Good F'n Lord. This place is deader than a graveyard. 1779. Capt Cook was on his 3rd worldwide sea voyage. Killed on a beach in the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii) against the natives. An officer under his command retrieved his body and commander sword and returned it to his family back in England. Name him? Resist Google, retards.

Peter Pan. Most people don't know that he was the man that invented what we now call Peanut Butter and after offering it to the natives on the Sandwich Islands it just took off.

We're so sorry, Uncle Albert
We're so sorry if we caused you any pain
We're so sorry, Uncle Albert
But there's no one left at home
And I believe I'm gonna rain
We're so sorry but we haven't heard a thing all day
We're so sorry, Uncle Albert
But if anything should happen we'll be sure to give a ring
We're so sorry, Uncle Albert
But we haven't done a bloody thing all day
We're so sorry, Uncle Albert
But the kettle's on the boil and we're so easily called away
Hands across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Hands across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Admiral Halsey notified me
He had to have a berth or he couldn't get to sea
I had another look and I had a cup of tea and butter pie (butter pie)
The butter wouldn't melt so I put it in the pie
Hands across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Hands across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Live a little, be a gypsy, get around (get around)
Get your feet up off the ground
Live a little, get around
Live a little, be a gypsy, get around (get around)
Get your feet up off the ground
Live a little, get around
Hands across the water (water)
Heads across the sky
Hands across the water (water)
Heads across the sky

Discovered by a German settler early 20th Century. Portuguese explorers sailed up the Congo river hundreds of miles in the 1480's and carved this inscription on a rock face above a major falls. Explains the mission and people involved. Image

CQ nailed it. Lt Bligh was the sub-officer under Cook. Retrieved his body and sword to return to his family. Later "Mutiny of the Bounty" fame.

Well not his body. You aren't shipping that back 10,000 miles and 18 months later. I meant his ceremonial sword that he presented to his widow.
