Fully composted chicken manure is a great fert but only about 3% nitrogen.

are there any kind of pruning tricks at different stages of growth in order to get it bushier, etc? I know on fruit trees there are all kind of pruning tricks that you have to do in order to get the shape right, the branches right, etc.

And this is friends.

Told a buddy that I was foraying into edibles. Said he smoked next to nothing and wanted to try. Grew hydroponically for years and had a stash. this was delivered today.

Same tricks with most plants. Trim the top and promote grow further down.

Looking into doing gummies.

It's a pain in the ass when your town carries nothing. You have to use Lecithin and potassium sorbate is recommended for shelf life. Good thing there is Amazon. The smallest amount of potassium sorbate I can buy is 1 lb. All I need for one batch is 1/4 tsp.

And I have to infuse coconut oil. I plan on using lime Jello so hopefully the lime and the coconut will be a good pairing. 8-)

Just got done a double batch of cannabutter. It's all packed in 1/4 cup amounts to freeze. It's what I use for brownies.

Image

Making cannacoconut oil for making gummies. First I had to Decarboxylate 42 gms of pot.

Image

Then that is added to 2 cups of virgin coconut oil in a double boiler and seeped at around 185F for 6-8 hours.

So I seeped this batch 7 hrs. Now we drain the solids out. I used a very fine mesh strainer and cheesecloth.

And this is the end result:

Image

I can attest to the potency. I put my finger in for a temp check and then licked my finger. It's kicking in.

Calculating the Potency of Your Coconut oil

This should probably read “estimating the potency” but – yes, it is possible to calculate the potency of your homemade oil, making a few assumptions, and using a little math. Don’t worry – we’ll make this is as simple as possible.
Now I started with 42 grams and it was 18-20%

42 grams cannabis x 18% THC ÷ 100 = 3.1 grams of THC

Now, multiply that by 1000 to get mg of THC

3.1g x 1000 = 3100 mg.

So, one cup contains 3100 mgs of THC. In that jar are 2 cups, or 6200mgs of THC. :smokingweed:

As mentioned before I put 4 plants in pots. They are all getting the same treatment. This is a side-by-side of the biggest and smallest. The monster is dubbed disco_moon. Currently at 17" And so far it is up to 9 pedals on the fan leaves. :smokingweed:

I have the plants at a friends place in town. It's a little more deer deterrent.

The chair is the neighbours on top of their shed. Here you have to take your garbage to the local dump. They are lazy.
