Nah, the leaves come out in stages. First 1 leaf, then 3 and the next set will have 5. :smokingweed:

We have a frost warning for tonight and possibly tomorrow night. Good thing I caught it and took steps to protect them. 8-)

We just hit 0C (32F) with a windchill of -2C (29F). People with tomatoes and peppers better have them covered.

I'll start adding some of this next week-end. A friend uses it and her plants, in 5 gallon buckets, got to almost 14'. 8-)

My first and only fan sign and it came from a pot plant and not a dick. I've come a long way baby. That plants looks really great! Every seed I have planted has been a dud. :(
That's just cause he couldn't find his extremely small fine point marker.

is there any reason why you can't use normal fertilizers like Miracle Gro?

Its time released and it can burn.

wow. I saw you posted some kind of fish fertilizer. It reminded me of a story i remember being told when i was a kid. that the indians pretty much saved the pilgrim's lives by teaching them to put fish parts in with the seeds when they planted corn (or whatever it was they were growing). I have no idea if that story is accurate or not, i just remembered it when i saw your post.

Slow release can burn? Any nitrogen can burn if you over do it. Miracle grow works just fine. Sloppy gardeners burn with quick release, slow release and even fish emulsion. Your fish juice is only 5% nitrogen as opposed to MG at over 20% so you are paying a premium price for very very little nitrogen. Marketing will do that.

The best natural fertilizer is chicken manure. But that's really slow release with only 40% of the nitrogen available in the first year
