Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Loved it.

A book about a grad student who befriends a gang banger lord in Chicago.
Our approach to gang violence is all wrong. Legalizing crack would drain the swamp in a few months.

I hear pork has drained the local library of all their "Golf for Dummies" books getting ready for his June shindig.

You know, hitting 400 on the chart from 365 is not tending upwards. You want the number to shrink.CentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 1:18 am#365 this week on the charts and trending upwards.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 1:16 am "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by CentralTexasCrude.

So the bar is set real low in your area? Gotcha. Could always go into the "Build your own Dungeon" book series. I hear there's money to be made in niche markets.

RD forgot the byline. "How to Win Friends and Influence people" by CTC. "My 12 year journey dealing with idiots, retards, psychopaths and the scum of the Earth" "A Precautionary Tale". I'm expecting a major boost in sales soon.Blast wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 1:38 amYou know, hitting 400 on the chart from 365 is not tending upwards. Doesn't even have to be what you are reading right now. Maybe something interesting you've read lately.

Cool. Thrillers, mysteries, ghosts. Man, let me think about this. I'm drawing a blank. Sadly, my reading interests are pretty narrow. Didn't used to be that way until the publishing houses started handing out contracts where the authors had to start churning out books on a time table. You can guess the results. See Stephen King. Last 25 years, all his books have been awesome in the first say half/ 2/3rds and then the rush to complete before the deadline. See 11/22/63.disco.moon wrote: ↑Sun May 16, 2021 12:16 amI like thrillers. Murder mysteries or haunted ghosty stuff.
