Anything over 80 is generally fine for a vaccine, the aim being herd immunity. That means it stops spreading and no one gets it, not that you let everyone get it because a million dead is a small number as a percentage. Kind of different approaches, even if it didn't also mean tens of millions more having serious health problems after surviving.

Now DeSantis is pushing the conspiracy stuff that deaths are being over reported.....if you die in a motorcycle accident or by suicide but you test positive to Covid-19 it gets reported as Coronavirus and that is patently untrue and against federal guidelines. This image shows an appalling lack of understanding about basic medical science. Vaccines don't kill viruses. But obviously a forum full of rightist gun owners knows more about infectious disease and the body's response than actual MD/DO physicians do.
My town of 80K , that has had no cases in 3 weeks, just made a mandatory mask rule for anyone inside a building.
All our stores are open. Number of people per store limited.
So basically we are where Georgia was in mid April. Wish us luck!

The word you are looking for would be 'preventing'.

It's pretty simple dude, you take total dead, divide by total population and multiply by 100k. You're up to 46 and about to climb fast.
