Republicans and the Economy

Why is it that every time a democratic administration hands off a perfectly fine economy to a republican administration the republicans feel the need to fuck it all up?
And special kudos to Trump. He destroyed the economy in half the time that Bush took.

OK, done. I own that Trump is POTUS while this is happening.

Worldwide death and sickness happening.

The market would be going down no matter who was POTUS. The fact that you so desperately want this to be all on Trump is pretty sad.

Stocks were always going to tank in a pandemic, simultaneously socks to supply and demand, travel and tourism cratering etc. It's just a little worse under trump because he is so blatantly incompetent.

He did follow the standard republican playbook on the economy though, which leaves y'all in a bad position. First the tax cut for the rich that will magically pay for itself but doesn't, with increased spending and decreased regulation to overheat the economy and create risk, then cutting entitlement programs because of the huge deficits they run, then inevitably some crash or other for the next guy, usually a dem, to fix. Rinse and repeat.

Cheezy: It's a great time to buy

The World: I barely had enough extra cash left over every week to put into my 401k. Now everything is gone.

Cheezy: What a great time to buy guys.

Hey fellas, calm down. FSF is writing as all checks to fix our 401k's. He's a plus in this world and a giver not a taker that's married to business executive.
