The thing is, Cheezy, will you get any substantial assistance? Most of the business assistance seems to be tilting towards large industries, not small business owners. The state and local governments are probably looking more to your back than the feds are. If they are.

What pisses me off are all the large companies who've had recent great profits, but instead of using those profits for cash reserves, spent it on stock buy-backs to shore up their "shareholder value". In my area, that's Disney, Universal, Sea World, and the large hotel chains. Instead of keeping a bit back for "a rainy day" like the rest of us are constantly advised to do, they spent it all on cheap stock and executive bonuses. *Now* they need some to keep business going, and they have their hands out. I'd say "fuck 'em!" but you're right, putting them out of business based on their own records of malfeasance puts a lot more people at risk than I'd certainly want. But do you think for a moment the feds are putting the average citizen and small business owner (you, f'rinstance) at the forethought of their assistance? Nice living in such a dream world, Cheezy. They're not the least concerned with you.
If you can't be a good example, you can still serve as a horrible warning.

Among the things Democrats are asking for include new collective bargaining powers for unions and higher fuel emission standards for airlines.

Big guys employ many folks. If they need money it can be loaned at confiscatory interest rates.

I understand that. But where they fail others will pick up. We can't keep bailing the corps out because they decide to do stupid shit just because they employ lots of people.

Boeing spent 60bn on share buybacks and dividend payments over a decade and now they want a 60bn bailout. They should get a bailout, Boeing is too big a part of the economy to let fail, but it should come at the cost of wiping out their major shareholders, other than their pension scheme holdings. Managers paid partly in stock and big investors in future may find that encourages more long term thinking.

There's no way that should be in there, if it really is.

But all those companies that got tax breaks from trump and congress and used that for stock bybacks. There's no way that can be allowed to happen again. And it can't be used for fattening up executive bonuses. As long as that's in there, the big guys need help too. It's not just about NOW, it's about LATER, when they need to be able to ramp back up and help with the U.S. economic recovery.

Its the Democrats that want to give cash grants rather than loan guarantees, you ignorant cunt

It's amazing how Democrat biker always leaps to the defense of the Republicans. A real Democrat knows that if a Republican is in favor of something the rich are going to get richer and the little guy is about to get ass raped again.

I would love for you to call me an ignorant cunt to my face....it would be the last thing to come out of your mouth for quite a while you elitist scumbag.
Im defending the truth, not one party, dipshit. Rather than trot out the usual leftist tripe about the corporate bailout, how about knowing WTF is actually on the table before you make an ass out of yourself. Too much to ask

Fuck you and your whole anti business schtick. I'm a middle class dude. Just like you. Most small business owners are. We are your brothers, sisters and neighbors. And we are the largest employer in the god damn country. God fucking forbid we also get some help so we can keep our employees employed and our businesses alive. What fucking good does it do if we go out of business because of your "fuck the businesses" attitude? Just for my situation: if I go under thats 7 people that are now unemployed because you don't think business should be helped. Fucking brilliant. Now multiply that across the entire nation in every county and every city. Your understanding of this situation is just patently partisan and frankly, dumb. We are not the evil, blood suckers you think we are.

Your such a sad stupid man cheezy. Nobody is talking about small business owners. I've said over and over I'm not referring to you fucking snowflake. They are talking about Airlines who spent their money on stock buybacks instead of holding for a rainy day. Cruise lines, Wall Street etc..… Get off your high horse . When I'm talking about looking out for the little guy I am including you dumb ass. You are either incredibly stupid or just refuse to listen to what is being said
So a lunch pail Joe’s job at a mom pop is more important Han a LPJ job at a corporation? Are you really the much of a bitter cunt, cunt?

Oh please. You dont give a shit about me, my business or any other business owner. You make that perfectly clear every fucking day. Its like you think no one has ever read or saw any of your posts and memes. So whenever you post a meme or comment about evil businesses and owners every small business owner is just supposed to say "Oh, cool. Theres Stapes again putting down businesses. He doesnt mean us though. Hes just looking out for the little guy." You are the most blatant and unapologetic anti business poster on this entire forum and everyone knows it. Like stymie used to say: Go sell that shit to the tourists. lulz

Just an FYI: I went to work early this morning to do payroll and you know what I paid myself? $200. Two hundred fucking dollars. Know why? Because I wanted my employees to have one last good check because I knew a lockdown was coming and my business would be closed. Hopefully not for long. I'm so stupid I am actually prepared for this but I know most of my employees are not. And go fuck yourself.

I can't wait when the checks start going out to pay off the student loans. Makes me a total chump for working and saving and sacrificing so the kid did t graduate in any debt. 6 figures of my own money.

Would have liked to pay cash for a C8 instead. Nice to know others could make the fun choice, getting the car and free college.

Over here if you have the money to pay up front, you're still better off taking the loan and investing the capital. Best rates and conditions on a loan you'll ever get. We don't bankrupt people over student debt though.

Seems like a good system. And why not have everyone else subsidise your kid's advanced school tuition?

Parents in California don't even have to worry about coming up with meals for their kids, schools in, schoil's out. No diff.
