Trump gets his much wanted investigation

Trump has fired the FBI chief and deputy and four IGs for investigating his crimes, the DoJ chief for not blocking the cover-ups, and multiple intel officials for not lying about his crimes. Nothing to see here. All is normal

Congress needs to move the IG role over to the legislative branch, or create an equivalent. They will have clear legislative purpose in confirming that the departments are following the laws as intended by the congress, and if not, where there are issues to be resolved by future legislative action. Once their supeana power is confirmed by the SC they should allow every IG full power to issue their own supeanas to investigate claims and they should make it a 6 year appointment with a requirement of 2/3rds majority to remove for cause.
