If it's shit you don't want to hear, put your fingers in your ears and yell "nonny-nonny" to no one in particular.

All the sworn affidavits are bullshit and the trump lawyers are pointing at each other as to who filed themAnimal wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:51 pmSo, why does everyone keep screaming about "there's no evidence"? I mean, don't get me wrong, I think the lawsuits are ridiculous, but if they honestly have reason to think that they have "facts they can prove" and they have sworn affidavits and whatever else, then why is everyone saying "THERE IS NO EFVIDENCE"?Wut wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:36 pmYou file the case alleging facts that you intend to prove and can prove and the case moves forward from there. If you do not allege sufficient facts to support your claim, or if your claim, based on the facts alleged, cannot succeed under the law, your case can be dismissed.Animal wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:31 pm I'm no lawyer, but aren't these types of cases "civil" cases? and, with civil cases, can't you file them without any evidence? I thought the only requirement for a civil case was a reason to think that something was done wrong and then once the case is approved by a judge, THEN the evidence can be gathered.
Does there have to be evidence in the beginning? I mean, isn't the whole point to get to a place where you can actually have access to things like voter records and envelopes and signatures so that you can gather the evidence that you can't possibly have at the outset?
