The Kerry Iran BS

#1

Post by Charliesheen »

https://www.americanthinker.com/article ... _deal.html

One of the 14 lies detailed in the piece:
Iran never reported its nuclear history to the IAEA: Iran had been non-compliant with its obligation to reveal its nuclear history. Per the JCPOA, the rogue nation was supposed to disclose its pre-deal nuclear program as a condition for implementing the agreement. Historical knowledge is necessary so the IAEA will know how, when, and where to inspect Iran’s program in the future. When it came time to ‘fess up, Iran told the IAEA that it never had a nuclear program. The IAEA reported what it was told instead of pushing back against a blatant lie. This is another example of a breach of the accord that was published as compliance. In other words, the entire agreement was based on a lie and should never have been implemented.

You’re clearly an idiot. Incapable of discourse.

Well, he said he would divest them after the ethics committee caught them in March of this year. He took office in January of this year.

No, a standard review recommended he follow the standard process which he did. It really wasn't a gotcha thing.

Of course I do. But I don’t gallivant around the globe in my G6 telling other people not to burn fossil fuels while at the same time making money on the companies that produce them.

But hey, even French sounding idiots can get addicted to those dividends.

What do you think the standard review is for? The ethics agency recommends what should be done, then unless you're in the trump white house you do it, no issue.

Four years of a president openly and defiantly violating every conflict of interest standard and now conservatives are upset? They can collectively eat a bag of dicks.

well i think a standard search for weapons at the metal detectors at airports to be for finding weapons, but I don't expect smart people to use that as their determination about whether to bring a gun to the airport.

Uh huh, well what happened here is that in the two months since his appointment he made full voluntary disclosure, received the recommendations, and followed the recommendations. That's simply how it is supposed to work. You've been duped again.

its funny how Rex Tillerson managed to figure this out in January before he was confirmed for the job and it took Kerry until an ethics committee explained it to him.

He divested after being confirmed for the job. Naturally being actual CEO of Exxon got a little more attention than having investments up front, it was a much stronger conflict. What's kinda funny is you had no problem with trump never divesting at all or making the standard disclosures to even see what he should, isn't it? Bit of a double standard?
