I remember Tea party Conservatives gathering in public toting black rifles and sidearms holding signs about birth certificates and American Muslim Presidents and government spending out of control, seemed hysterical to me at the time.

There is no party of fiscal responsibility. The handful of politicians who are mindful of the damage being done to future generations will not be found in the putrid culture of entrenched beltway types.

There is a party of relative fiscal responsibility, and guess what, it's the democrats.

The same party that wants medicare for all?
That in turn would cost less than the current system? Yes

But would bankrupt the govt even further
All the countries with socialize healthcare would strongly disagree

You realise that would be a huge saving right? Healthcare spending in the US is the most inefficient in the world by quite a long way. Obviously medicare for all needs to be funded with a new tax, but that tax would be significantly lower than the cost of private premiums it replaced.

But a 1,000 dollars a month for good old US healthcare with a 7,000 dollar deductible is good. I honestly don't understand the thinking. How about we spread the taxes around on income and goods so everybody feels a little pinch that we all will get used to and not ever worry about premiums and insurance denying services.
I blame Biker.
