Wow, I was expecting the spread to be much higher. I wondered how much the Brady effect would have to level the betting, but i had no idea it would get it down to 3.

Kansas City -3.

I was kind of surprised myself. But that line opened at -3 and just stayed there. I've seen -3.5 at a couple of books, but they are few and far between.

Well, I saw a picture last night of Eli Manning celebrating after the NY Giants defeated an undefeated NE Patriot team for a Super Bowl win several years ago. So, I guess anything can happen.

If I remember that year right, that was the year the Cowboys won the division and the Giants were a wildcard. Then the Giants go and run the table in the playoffs.

BOTH times the Giants beat the Pats in the Super Bowl the Giants were a Wild Card team!

Sorry, I should have worded that differently.
In 2007 The Giants were a true Wild Card team. In 2011 they won the NFC East but had to play in a Wild Card game.

Well, if freaking Eli Manning can take a wild card team out of the NFC East and beat an undefeated Tom Brady team in the Super Bowl, then anything is possible. I might change my pick in this before Sunday rolls around. I hate betting against Brady, but holy crap KC wins this hands down on paper.

KC's OL is a mess, and a Bowles-led defense is not the team you want to meet with a depleted OL.

Mahomes' turf-toe better be healed, 'cause he's likely to be running for his life. Though he's probably one of the few who can be successful doing that.

Yes Sir. And forget the +3. TB will win outright and it has nothing to do with Brady or Mahomes. That Buccaneer defense got them to the SB. They will win it.

I'd suggest a bet... but you'd welsh on it.

I'd suggest a bet on it, too but I know you can't handle the math, so what's the point.

Tampa Bay up huge at halftime. They will regret not converting that 4th and goal.

What I thought about KC's patchwork OL vs Tampa's DL is coming true, and now Tampa's offense is beating up on KC's defense (they may be getting tired)

Mahomes is running for his life, but he's still making incredible throws. But Tampa's secondary is tough too.

I believe I made a guarantee prediction 2 days ago that this SB would not involve Brady or Mahomes but would be the Tampa Bay defense. I rest my case.

That angle was always considered into my prediction.
