So basically this thread was announce that he is doing something most people did a decade ago. WTC is not seeking advice, he seeking attention. Because he is a sad lonely old man with no friends.

Dude. I value your opinion. It's just seems to come from a sheltered existence that I can't relate to right now. Let's re-talk in a year. OK?

Sorry, I have no idea what that means.I'm buying a SGalaxy a-71 and I need to know what the "unlocked" feature means for my future. Nothing else matters. Can you explain your comment?Geist wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:44 pmGet a flagship phone or get a sub $200 burner. Around $400- a little less for "unlocked". I'm not paying any monthly installment BS- paid in full. Edit- I'm planning on buying the phone seperate and shopping the carriers after if that impacts the "locked vs unlocked" discussion.

I remember the first time I saw a WTC dog pile on the OG UJ. He was debating "oil reserves" or some stupid shit for 10 pages.megman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 1:10 amWhich, in your fucked up alcoholic brain, is EVERY post.....WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 1:05 amFTFY
I tried to help him understand something another poster had said and another user (maybe Smoke?) told me not to bother because WTC was stupid and stuborn as fuck. Best advice I've ever gotten on here.

Unlocked isn't a feature. It just means the phone comes from the manufacturer and not one of the carriers. Carrier phones usually come with their own proprietary apps and bloatware on it. Doesn't necessarily mean the phone is any better or any worse than a carrier's phone

Would probably help your perspection if when I ask for advice on a simple matter, you don't clog it with questions about "pre-paid" and "E-bay". No idea what that means, Appreciate the input, though. Re: Finally entering the new century
There is this thing called the internet..... You go on there and you can compare plan prices with each carrier....... You have to ask yourself what you're going to use your phone for.... Are you going to need a data plan for internet access because that's extra..... If you're not going to use it much a prepaid might be the better way to go..... You need to put on your big boy pants and learn how to live in the f****** world

Re: Finally entering the new century
If you don't know what prepaid and eBay are in regards to your cell phone purchase search, your knowledge base on the subject is so desperately nominal that you're not going to be able to either figure this out for yourself or through the advice of strangers on the internet. Your only hope is a Jitterbug but you don't know what that is either.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 1:59 amWould probably help your perspection if when I ask for advice on a simple matter, you don't clog it with questions about "pre-paid" and "E-bay".
