its just as scientific as your tweet of someone "saying" that masks work. Jesus.
Except there is scientific data showing it "helps" prevent virus dispersion and infection.
i have seen the scientific data and studies on masks and how they "should" work in a lab environment that re-creates what they think is a virus transmision scenario. However, what Biker is posting are actual facts of the results in real life. Mask use is at its highest percentage ever and virus spread is at his highest spread ever. So, his point is that those two things don't seem to square with each other.
Capt FS Stapes loves to didge that question because he cannot explain it

The mask and the Chicken Little who bow to it have made it sort of a religious thing, similar to the climate change, errr, global warming theories. Its no longer about science, its about politics

There isn't a credible person in the world who would agree with you that masks don't help. You keep trying to make some point and I don't really understand why. The reason we are 10 months into this thing and it's more out of control than ever is due to people like you.
Another dodge.

We are at our highest level of mask wearing in this country and cases have blown up. How do you square those two things?

You keep saying that but it doesnt make it true. We are not compliant. Go to any bar on a Saturday night. Go to these weddings with 200 people in attendance......go to church on Sunday.....go to fucking Sturgis .......go to a trump rally or christmas party. You can post a website showing me that the Moon rises every morning but I can see with my own eyes it's the sun.
I blame Biker.

It isnt any different from the early fall and summer though, is it? So explain how it is that we are experiencing more cases right now when mask mandates in places like the Dakotas are now in place??

Well I'm going for my quick test tomorrow morning. A customer who we maintain his fleet vehicles for called yesterday right at closing time and said he tested positive. Half the shop has been sick in one way or another all week, and he is always in the business 2-4 times a week every week. I was all in his F350 on and off yesterday, and spoke to him face to face for a few minutes Monday and Tuesday. I feel like a stucco bathtub today with aches and pains all over, short breath and coughing, and my ears even hurt deep down.

Fuck me if I have this shit with my heart issues and COPD.

P.S. I've got mild COPD too, and I hope that means I'm going to be somewhere near the front for the shot.

It seems like the shots will be very limited to start, and ramp up production from there.

Which is puzzling, because I thought a whole lot were already supposed to be made under this "Warp Speed" deal. Storage problems maybe (especially for Pfizer)?

I don't really think the machine is going to really get rolling for at least another month and even more. Once moderna comes online and the bugs are worked out of the distribution.....it's going to take awhile for sure.

and nobody wants the astrazeneca vaccine...lol

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine may come out in February, and it might be single-dose.

i don't know the answer to that either, but how the fuck can the third place vaccine be this far along, in phase 3 trials, and the media not have dug deep enough into the story than to let us know if it is a 2 part or 1 part vaccine. that kind of makes a difference, don't you think? the media today sucks at finding details of stories.

I did some research when I posted this, and apparently the 2 dose version is being tested elsewhere (Europe I think).

Apparently they don't need as many volunteers as the first two due to the increasing number of people who are getting the plague now.

P.S. The Astra Zeneca (sp?) might come out third, and J&J fourth. Both don't have the storage issues of the first two.
