When people cant afford healthcare, housing, food, utilities, ect, a loud attention whore motorcycle is pretty low on the list. All the old bikers are of the "I've got mine, fuck you" tribe, and they can only buy so many before they die out. The tariffs sure didnt help.

In my experience the people who would have bought a Harley or boat 20 years ago are now buying Porches / Corvettes and joining the sports car club. It's darn near impossible to buy a used manual Corvette anymore - the old timers who originally bought them needed an automatic.
