Stumped me with an opinion question? I chose not to participate because what you are asking isn't really part of the discussion.
Actually, it is.

But its OK.

You take those over-simplifications and run with 'em kiddo. You do you.
No it’s not. This discussion started out with me addressing a meme. You decided to say that taxes are theft and wanted to start a discussion on “good” and “bad” taxes. It’s not relevant and I don’t really care about it.
More accurately: You dismissed me under the fraudulent claim that I stand for 'taxes = theft'.

And when given the opportunity to curb your prejudice, and maybe learn something --> you have opted to "not really care about it".

You tried to draw a moral equivalency between wanting to feed everyone using taxation and letting people starve, and you aren't trying to say some variant of the standard taxation is theft bullshit?

You never understand your own positions. It's always amusing.

I did no such thing.

But keep trying to sell your road fudge, anal.

There are a few people here who really love the taste and texture.

Both of these stances are morally wrong, and there is also no easy answers to these kinds of questions.
Liar. There you are right there trying to pretend 'even if we have to tax people' and 'even if people have to starve' are equivalent negative consequences.

And there is actually an easy answer there, don't let people starve. Pretty simples, you sicko.

So, if you call me a liar and just reassert your bullshit claim... Magically it becomes true???

LOL! Sorry, kiddo. That' isn't how it works.

I made no such claim. You, like spudoc before you, are trying to over-simplify complex issues. I imagine you feel nice in smug touting moronic slogans like those. Its no different than chanting the manta of just "giving everyone a million dollars". Sounds great and makes you feel warm and fuzzy, until you put an ounce of thought into what you are proposing and realize its not that simple and your idea is actually just shit.

Fraudulent claim that taxes =theft? You clearly stated that society needs to come up with solutions that don’t involve stealing from one group for the benefit of another. You literally used the word “stealing” in a place that the only concept you could be talking about was taxes.

Just because I don't want to feed everyone by stealing from some people doesn't automatically mean I think "tax = theft".

You are putting words in my mouth --> you are the fraud.

There are good taxes, there are bad, and there is outright theft. Convince me your 'feed everyone' bill is fair. (And realize that if its not fair --> its at best a 'bad tax' and at its worst its Theft).

don't you ever wonder what the pirates did with men on the ship that didn't pull their weight?

or what effects the "common good" principles would have had on the evolution of species if they had been implemented?

You're right society is a construct and most people can fend for themselves, but if you want help the few who can't, you don't give all the food away at once and kill everyone else later from lack of food.

Do you really formulate your positions on socio-economical issue by engaging in some pirate fantasy?
And the human species would have not survived if it had not been for the adoption of the “common good” where people engaged in cooperation rather than competition.
