Arnold has his demons and flaws but seems like such a good dude.
I love Arnold but his analogy stinks.
Do you understand that your president incited an armed mob to storm the capital and disrupt the process by which his democratic successor was being empowered to take over?
As I said earlier, Chumpy has to watch what he says now, 'cause a pissed Pence could go 25th on his ass.
P.S. As far as I can figure, if he decided to do this on the 16th, there's nothing Chumpy could really do about it. Would enough cabinet officials sign on?

If he does it then he could say he was president. Am I correct in my assumption?
I think he would officially be "Acting President."
In a normal world, it would be possible for the elected President to get his job back. It's not really the same as impeachment.
P.S. If a smart VP decided to do this, the President probably wouldn't know about it 'til it's done. And I don't think Pence is dumb.
Pence would send a letter to Congress saying Chump is unfit with enough cabinet members signed on. Congress could sit on the letter and do nothing. Pence would be acting President till Chump's term expires. Pence would not be considered the 46th president.
Any damn fool can navigate the world sober. It takes a really good sailor to do it drunk

And that's only necessary if he did it before the 16th. After that, I don't think there's enough time for Chumpy to fight it.

No he didn't. Good talk.
He’s been fanning the flames for this since prior to the election.

Is that the same as Krystallnacht?
So you are capable of understanding what happened then?
They are different events but there are parallels.

I read about that quickly.
Chump was more blatant about it really, and he didn't have people in his employ going out and eliminating his enemies (though his words may have been interpreted by his more violent supporters as encouragement to do that).
Hitler, unlike Chumpy, was actually a bloodthirsty murderer, but better at disguising his involvement in that sort of stuff.
I think the Germans of the era would find Chumpy's efforts "amateurish."
P.S. And I realize any effort to equate the two will be used to derail the actual argument, that what Chumpy did was repugnant and unworthy of anyone who attained the Presidency. And you'd have to question the patriotism of anybody who would consider voting for him again.
