Canadian health care

All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.

Canadian health care

Post by megman »

People make fun of it but it's not all true.

April 23 I had a appt made for an X-ray on Apr 26. I also had paper work done for an MRI.

Monday I had a call for my MRI for Sat May 1. I had my X-ray done and saw my doc that afternoon.

MRI's usually take months. This was less than a week. I'm not sure if its a good or bad thing but the tech said normally the results are sent in aboot 5 days but my doc would have mine much sooner.

I know my sciatic is really messed up but things are not looking good.

Generally the thing left out when talking about waiting lists is the fact that emergencies go to the front. When I broke my knee I had an MRI and results same day, but then I had to wait 5 for surgery because mine could wait and selfish bastards kept jumping the queue with near fatal crashes and stuff.

So yeah, in summary, sounds like you're fucked.

I still enjoy that about half of American movie plots are "Gotta do this crime to pay for my Pappys surgery" or some shit like that.

Like I said, it was a quick search. Do you want more? Whole Breaking Bad (Thanks DP) was written with that premise.

You said "And I enjoy the fact that I can't think of a single movie plot that is like that". Can you list the movies you have seen? Maybe one of them spoke of the plot between the car chases.

You said 1/2 the movies. i literally can't think of a single movie i have ever seen that had anything to do with it. And I didn't see Breaking Bad. If I could think of a movie like that I would add it to your list.

Remember, if Flumpy is ignorant about it (ballot boxes) you cannot use it as an example because Flumpy will immediately discount it. Even if it is a thing.
