Sounds like they have management issues at Southwest.
SWAPA has issues with the administration's vaccine mandate, dipshit
and the union says their pilots are not participating in any official or unofficial sick outs.....but blame ongoing mismanagement...dipshit
Christ, youre dumb. Do you actually think the union would admit to an illegal slowdown? Think for once in your damned life
is that what your feed told you?

"SWAPA is aware of operational difficulties affecting Southwest Airlines today due to a number of issues, but we can say with confidence that our pilots are not participating in any official or unofficial job actions," the union said in a statement.

Southwest has had a difficult year. The airline had the worst on-time performance and the greatest percentage of canceled flights of any of the nation's four major airlines in June and July, according to flight tracking service Cirium. Passengers aren't the only ones upset with Southwest: Unions for pilots, flight attendants and mechanics have all voiced complaints about the airline's operations.
I blame Biker.

i don't think that its any secret that the pilots union is against the mandates. the question is whether the pilots are causing the problem or if its something within SW airlines mgmt system that is doing it.

as i said earlier, that analyst i heard on the news said he thinks its NOT the pilots and thinks it IS a problem with some new system SW has.

It isn't necessarily that the union is against vaccines...... They don't like that the company makes unilateral decisions concerning labor without negotiating/going through the union. Unions know they can not give management one inch or they take advantage. Non union people might think it's petty but unions have learned the hard way. That's why they are there.

So in your eyes a problem that has been apparent before but still allowed the company to function pretty normally is the exact same as nearly shutting the entire operation down? You dont see a difference there? Of course this is the pilots flexing their collective muscle in the only way they can. To not connect these dots is some serious rose colored glasses viewing.

I am begining to suspect it might be the pilots "sick out" after all. I heard a union spokesman denying it all this morning and he said that the rate of sick pilots right now is about on par with the rate of sick this past summer.

That seems like a typical excuse cover up type comment from a spokesman.

I guess its a double edged sword. They can't appear to be too sick (to sick, howie) or they will only be reinforcing the fact that they need vaccines more than ever.

Except that isn't what is going on.
So despite the strong opposition to the vax mandate and the fact that theyre taking the company to court to stop it, you think its an operations misfire. Do you have any evidence of that?

Or the fact that they also tried to inexplicably blame weather issues; despite no other airlines in the area canceling or delaying flights due to weather.

You think management is going to blame their own incompetence? The fact that they aren 't pinning it on the Union goes to show you they know they arent to blame......'cause they would waste no time in pointing the finger. You a&&holes are delusional.
I blame Biker.

This story is sort of like the Wuhan Lab story. At some point it doesn't matter what people are saying, it just comes down to "if it walks like a duck, and it quacks......"

The union did not cite any specific operational issue. Also, do you think the union would readily admit an illegal job action? You’re simply being obtuse and intellectually dishonest

And like the lab leak, leftists side with most absurd explanation
