You made a poor choice of states to live in if you feel that way.
Isn't it weird how all of the nice places to live in the US are run by liberals and all of the dumps are run by conservatives? Even Texans will admit that the nicest part of Texas is Austin and that is the most liberal city in Texas.
Dude, Mississippi and Alabama are conservative utopias full of wealthy, educated and successful citizens that totally don't live off government handouts. Haven't you heard?

The place has changed tremendously since I moved here. When the governors office is run by a sane man, it could offset the liberal insanity in the legislature.

I’d be open to considering that but honestly I don’t see how.

I moved here in 84. Got a job in a couple weeks and have been working ever since, except for a year off which I spent chasing a business idea. Never drew a nickel of welfare or unemployment. Volunteered in the kids preschool and elementary schools.

If the board’s sick of me bitching about California, I get it. I’ll let somebody else complain about it. Meanwhile I’ll take the best that I can from this place while I run the clock out and get ready to move somewhere else. If I can afford it I’ll keep a little crash pad somewhere here. The cool kids do that, made possible courtesy of rent control.

I still find it a little humorous it took the likes of Trump to finally wash away the stink of worst president ever from Bush II. Now that he's an ex-president, he seems pretty much to have become alright with many leftists. "Eh, maybe he wasn't so bad after all. Ya know, relatively..."

By the way, my own feeling is that Woodrow Wilson is in general the worst president ever, but that's a whole different topic.
If you can't be a good example, you can still serve as a horrible warning.

Poor victim Trump. All he did was ask for a peaceful march and then he did nothing to stop the riot and the gosh darn lefties tried to blame it on him. Can the guy catch a break?
