I was trying to get a picture of a barn, missed my opportunity, then later noticed the bird in the picture and thought it was kewl.

Saw a bald eagle last week, but driving 80 KPH on a winding road is not good for pic taking.

There's an abundance of bald eagles round these parts the last couple of years. I've seen four in the last year and I had never seen one in my life

I'm almost stoned and it made sense to me.

I remember when I was a cub scout we went to a local camp and there was one tree in a field, maybe a mile from the road. There was a nest that was huge in it and while checking it out with binoculars a bald eagle stuck its head up then stretched it wings. The nest was aboot 3 feet across. The wing span was much bigger.

Apparently there was only 2 in the county.

Actually Stormi is a rescue that my friend got from the Dachshund rescue society. I spend a lot of time babysitting her when my friend goes out of town.

She's 14 years old and loves long walks and gets very jelly if I pay attention to another dog.

This was Peggy. She was another rescue and was Stormi's sister for 4 years. She was 16 and died just before Christmas. I was the only male who was allowed to pet/scratch her.
