compare that to Wyomings top 10 exports in 2020:

Disodium carbonate: US$817 million (70.1% of Wyoming’s total exports)
Rare gases: $40 million (3.4%)
Bentonite: $29 million (2.5%)
Derricks/cranes parts, attachments: $24 million (2%)
Ammonium dihydrogenorthoposphate: $20 million (1.7%)
Vehicle bodies for road tractors, vans including cabs: $18 million (1.5%)
Boring/sinking machine miscellaneous parts: $13 million (1.1%)
Sodium hydrogencarbonate, sodium bicarbonate: $10 million (0.9%)
Liquified propane: $10 million (0.8%)
Miscellaneous petroleum oils: $10 million (0.8%)

A $29 million business is #3 on their list?

Population Wyoming 578,759.
Population Florida 21,480,000.

Florida is 37 times bigger in people. So a $29 million business in Wyoming would have to be a $1 billion business in Florida.

Well, Florida has 37X the population of Wyoming. Factoring that into each state's top 4 exports/
#1: Florida- $4.9 Billion/ Wyoming- $30.2 Billion
#2: Florida-$2.3 Billion/ Wyoming- $1.5 Billion
#3: Florida-$1.1 Billion/ Wyoming- $1 Billion
#4: Florida- $938 Million/ Wyoming- $888 Million

Too simplified because you were only talking exports. Take tourism- Florida-$115 Billion per year. Wyoming's is only $3 Billion. But if you factor in the 37X population differential, that would be $111 Billion

That's 70% of Wyoming's exports according to Animal's stats- way over representative for a State.

that one product is the only reason Wyoming is even in this conversation. It would take about 9 average McDonald restaurants to break into their top 3 revenue exporters.

Gotcha. We all know Florida is an economic powerhouse and Wyoming is anything but. I was trying to answer your question on why Wyoming was showing higher on Bluespruce's chart than Florida. It GDP "per capita".

Or if they can, won't be able to afford the insurance and upkeep. How awful the roads and traffic are. How upside-down the cost of living here is. And how tragically lost our state congress is on how an average resident manages.

*Then* to learn how crappy the weather is, any way: a few nice weeks in early Spring, a few nice weeks in late Autumn, and hot and rainy or cold and rainy it is the rest of the year, not including hurricanes and tornadoes. Wonderful beaches? Well, if you can get access to them.

that's a great take on your state, Eeyore. I was more thinking about all of the tourist industry that has to bring in big bucks. Between the beaches and amusement parks and the number of months that people can go there, it just seems that it would contribute more to the GDP per capita than Wyoming.
Does Florida actually make anything? Or is it just a tourism and retirement state?
top 10 exports in 2020:

Aircraft including engines, parts: US$4.9 billion (10.7% of Florida’s total exports)

Integrated circuits (processors/controllers): $1.1 billion (2.4%)
Small portable digital computers: $938 million (2%)

I'm sorry i was the only one to be surprised that Florida is ranked in the bottom when you use this crazy "per capita" science.
Maybe, just for Florida, they need to do a separate per capita without the Cubans, Haitians and Puerto Ricans.
honestly, i think it certainly points out a problem.
And if the Cubans, Haitians and Puerto Ricans are legal?
i am assuming they are legal. you tell me what problem it points out?
