I'll just throw these out every time I think of them. 1776-1976. 200 years of US history. How many Presidents? A total of 2 Impeachment proceedings. Last what 18 years- 3 impeachment proceedings. 2 on one President, one after he was already out of office. If that doesn't sound like political boredom, I don't know what else does. It sounds like our officials aren't doing the job that we are electing them to do. Almost like something is missing. Oh right. A common enemy.

poor people trying to understand how corporations pay taxes is funny.

Here's a clue. A "C" Corporation will generally pass any profits on to shareholders right before the end of the year so that the share holders aren't taxed on those profits twice. Every C Corp I have ever worked for does this.

An "S" Corp doesn't pay taxes. The profits are carried over to the share holders on K-1's and the shareholders pay the profits even if they didn't receive them. You can leave the profits in the corporation as retained earnings which are now tax free if they are later pulled out by shareholders (since they already paid the tax on them).

No corporation can hide profits to avoid taxes.

Let's see. 1945-1991- 46 years. 2 times to War er I mean Police actions. Both to stop the spread of Communism. HW- Persian Gulf War and Panama. Clinton- Somalia and got us involved in the Bosnian War. W- Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama- Lybia and Syria. Trump- nothing. Biden- nothing (so far- it's early and Ukraine was too close to Russia).
