Randy Weaver, who refused to leave his remote Idaho cabin to answer a U.S. gun charge with bloody consequences, died this week.

According to a social media post from his daughter Sara, Randy Weaver died on Wednesday at 74. She did not disclose a cause of death.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the 11-day Ruby Ridge standoff which saw separate, deadly exchanges of gunfire claim the lives of Randy Weaver's wife Vicki and teenaged son Sam, as well as a U.S. Marshal.

The run up to the deadly violence saw Weaver likely entrapped in a sale of illegal guns to an undercover federal agent, according to a U.S. Senate committee finding. Weaver, who refused to work as an informant, was charged for a gun offence before the standoff, which has become a rallying point for anti-government groups.

It's been almost 30 years since that last Begat. I guess the message was received loud and clear. Their hasn't been another rogue Fed operation killing innocent US civilians, Men (some) Women and Children on US soil since.

I stand by my statement. As an example, Google Warren Jeff's Mormon off-shoot FLDS compound he established outside of Eldorado, Tx. About 15 years ago, the Feds were determined to bring him in after evidence surfaced of young girls being married off to senior leaders. How did they do that? They relied on State and Local LEO's to do their jobs serving warrants, searching the compound, collecting evidence and bringing those accused to trial. No Feds blasting through the front gates in tanks while helicopters with snipers hanging out of them circled overhead. You tell me who got the message.
