This Dofu sports app has been a dud, so far. Installed last night on my computer. Said installed and would show up "soon". This morning- nothing. Tried installing on my phone. The last step is your credit card info. It's free and I'm not doing that. EDIT- ok, got it installed on my phone. Looks great. Need to get it on my computer so I'm not eating phone battery use.Burn1dwn wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 3:01 pmGet the Dofu sports app. It's free and you can watch just about any sport on it.CentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 11:54 pmAnd that ended today. Other than football, my TV is a dark blank screen 23 hours day and I'm not paying $75/ month for that privilege. Paying for my internet now, that's always worth it. Looking at some YouTubeTV type services to get me through the Super Bowl.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 11:19 pmYou posted a while ago that you get free cable and internet with your apartment.CentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 11:13 pm I had an early appointment dumb fuck. Doesn't matter starting today. My cable went away and I won't be watching any more World Series games. Just the highlights.

Re: Astros
Hopefully you can figure it out. I have never given card info. It always works for me on my phone and I cast (I am a Samsung guy) it to my television set. I've used it for MLB, PPVs, NBA, and NFL with no issues.

Re: Astros
Well, I should do appreciate you. After dropping cable, this is perfect for what I need through football season (Probably was looking at YouTubeTV for 3 months at $65 per). Phone works great. I have a Samsung smart TV, so just need to download an android emulator to get it on there. I'm interested tomorrow to see how the NFL games work out. Anyway, I thank you.

Houston Astros-World Series Champions 2022
Incredibly, first time a team has won it at home in 9 years.

Happy for Dusty Baker.
In 1993, in Baker's first year managing, his first game had Geronimo Pena batting leadoff.
Pena's son Jeremy is the current HOU SS.

Re: Astros
Wow, that's cool.
I think when you look at the whole Astros playoff effort, one thing stands out- the bullpen. 55 inning pitched, 5ER's. Close to a 0.80 ERA.

Yep. Dusty seems like a good egg. Glad he finally got one as a manager.

If he isn't already going to the HOF, he certainly is now.
