I got out of it as well. I could only laugh that it is up 300% ytd. Overall, 2023 has been a good year for me so far in the market.

Overall it lowered taxes for the middle class. I have a lot of clients who didn't benefit due to the change of the limit of State and Local tax deduction to $10K on Schedule A. Also, employees could no longer claim unreimbursed business expenses on their Schedule A. People who don't itemize generally paid less after the new rules.

Nah, I've had this discussion here numerous times over the past 3 years or so. Many are so hell bent on the the "TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH!!!!!1" schtick that actual numbers didnt matter. Give it time: we'll see another post somewhere where someone will claim "Trump only cut taxes for rich people!"
