All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.
It can get NSFW-ish here: you have been warned!

Probably worried about the weight of the water on top of that whole structure. You can tell they thought everything through. I'll bet it has an awesome view of the neighboring junk yard.

That answer is easy if you think about it. Early Humans migrating out of Africa all over Euro-Asia encountering new plants/ foods.

those same early humans probably didn't walk up to every new plant and sit down like they were at an all you can eat Luby's buffet.

Well, nothing is proven in the archeology record but it's just common sense that they would watch what the animals eat. Bright red berry? Set it out and watch. Birds and reptiles loved them but deer and pigs wouldn't eat them if they were starving. Killed enough to know they had the same organs as the later. Totally different from the former.

water is the tricky one though. if you watch those survivalist type shows, the very first thing they have to do is make fire so they can boil water. almost 100% of the time any water they find, even running water, makes them violently ill. I don't know when man learned to make fire, but they must have had some super antibodies from whatever water they drank.

Man, that's a good point I haven't thought about. Hmm. I mean downstream from herds of animals was probably figured to be a bad idea. I guess since they only lived for 18 years on average they probably just said "Fuck it- you only live once".

Doesn't realize that the life expectancy IN EUROPE 200 years ago was barely out of the 20's
Doesn't understand what "Average" means
Doesn't realize that almost 40 % of children didn't live to be 5
Doesn't realize what "Average" means
Doesn't realize I was referring to Humans migrating out of Africa maybe 100,000 years ago
