Remember, you don't need eclipse glasses. That's just a myth perpetrated by big pharma!

I remember when I was a young kid, there was like a 50% eclipse somewhere we lived and Dad showed us the whole pinhole in the cardboard trick where you see the Sun projected on another piece. With being able to see it on the news, I don't need to see a total eclipse through filter glasses. I'm going to be out in the middle of nowhere so I can experience it through my senses. Gets totally dark, birds and all of nature goes silent, etc.

On average, any particular spot on Earth sees CTC with a woman once every 375 years,

If CTC is ever seen with a woman someone should call the police because he's probably kidnapping her.

The town here is like 25,000. No way to predict the actual numbers of course (weather, middle of the week), but with a top 10 population city just 60 miles down the interstate, they are predicting possibly 200,000- 500,000 visitors within 20 miles of here. I think I'll be gassing up and stocking up on food a few days before.

I have a pretty good size area outside my back porch. Thinking of tent areas for overnighters, several chairs scattered about for daytimers. Charge a hefty fee. Who said you couldn't make money over dark skies. It's the American Way.

I think your landlord might have something to say about that.

(and the area behind your apartment ain't that big.)
