auroras could be seen as far south in the United States as Alabama.
Does it mean aurorae will be seen in Huntsville AL, but not Mobile? And is Florida completely fucked for seeing them at all?

It’s because of her the magnetic north pole is located in reference to the actual rotational north pole. I see it on a regular basis and I never tire of it.
There was the first wave of a solar flare due to hit tonight and I heard it could be seen as far as Louisiana, with possible internet, GPS and radio outages. It was rated a 4 out of 5.
