Anyway, "opportunity for the LGBT community to try to find human connection and intimacy" is one thing, but cruising in the gay man sense implies having sex in secretive but still public places. Cruising is what George Michael did in an LA public park bathroom. It means guys are fucking around in the bushes or in cars on parking lots. It's having sex basically in public. Now, as probably the most liberal person on this board, I really just don't approve of that. It's not just men together, it's any kind of public sex even if attempting it in a covert and furtive manner, gay or straight. Have the decency of doing that shit behind closed and locked private doors. Have some goddam discretion. TIA.
