Well, considering its an entirely different scenario now I'd expect it to change some.

I don't think anyone would argue that she was a reasonably attractive woman. But then she took to using a surgeon's scalpel to touch up her makeup.
If you can't be a good example, you can still serve as a horrible warning.

Texas removes 1 million people from voter rolls
https://thehill.com/homenews/4849711-te ... e-million/
------------------------
Here in Michigan the Whitmer administration largely refuses to address the issue.
As it stands, Michigan has 8.2 million registered voters on the books. That’s 102.8% of the state’s 7.9 million voting-age residents, according to census data. The discrepancy isn’t new, but Michigan largely stands alone in this regard. As of 2022, Michigan was the only Great Lakes state where the registered voter tally outnumbered the state’s voting-age population.

I spent the weekend in AZ. I was watching some college football and some MLB on t.v. Every commercial break had an ad for either Trump or Harris. It was exhausting.

It's brutal here in MI. Every other commercial is political. The Harris camp and her PACs are spending like crazy. Her commercials outnumber Trump's probably 3-1.

Michigan is pretty much a statistical polling tie right now. So if she's outspending him 3 to 1 in ads, that's a good sign for trump.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 9:13 pmIt's brutal here in MI. After Teamsters union members overwhelmingly vote to endorse Trump, leadership decides to not endorse ANY candidate.
Teamsters actually published the results of their internal polling (in the link).

Removing ineligible voters from your records is simply good record keeping, adds another layer of safety and should be standard practice for all states throughout the nation.
If you're a person that wants to take advantage of loose record keeping to do some illegal stuff then its not so great.
The Michigan Secretary of State and AG have actually sued to stop the process of cleaning up our records claiming its some "right wing" attempt to suppress votes.

And another state does the right thing.
North Carolina Removes Hundreds Of Thousands From Its Voter Roll
"The North Carolina Election Board (NCEB) has removed hundreds of thousands of names from the voter rolls ahead of the presidential election.
A combined total of 747,274 names were removed from the swing state’s voter rolls, including 130,688 people who are now dead.
Just under 290,000 voters were removed as duplicates due to their relocation within North Carolina, while approximately one-third were taken off the list for being inactive the two most recent federal elections. Other reasons for removal included moving out of the state (31,242), duplicates (26,939), felony convictions (18,883) and requests from the voter themselves (2,329)."
