Things have been good, a little bad. Maybe a lot bad.

When the gov set the end date of the pandemic, my daughter and many hundreds of her co-workers were immediately laid off from Moderna, as the vaccine cooperate welfare check was cut off. It was a real shitty thing they did and blindsided many employees. My daughter was an environmental control biologist for Moderna, and they hired a massive amount of people at the start of the pandemic to push out the vaccines this country needed, and they just kicked them out the door the day funding was cut off.

Anyways, they suffered through the summer and burnt up the savings, so they had to move back in home last November.

So we have a full house!! I get to see the grandson every damn day which is the blessing.

I also get to see the son in-law, which can do better but doesn't want to work. Security guard is his primary position and wants kudos from me as he now has a second job as a dishwasher, while "caring" for the grandson. I have had many total blowout screaming sessions with him as he just cant function as a normal human, and I finally have him at the point where he can mind his son, clean the dishes, and take THIER damn dog for a regular walk when it needs it. He is 33 and a total waste of space. Totally afraid of me, and thats fine with me. I'm paying the majority of his expenses to be a retard in my house, so its my right. I wanted to throw him out, daughter point blank said if he goes they all go, so I just verbally abuse the SIL when I can.

The grandson is the reason I still carry on and cant kick the SIL out of the house. He just started kindergarten in the same school I went to, my wife went to, and both his mother and uncle being our kids went to. He is the center of my universe and seeing him every day is what makes it worth it.

The daughter landed a new job at a Japanese biotech, she came in as a contractor via a headhunter and they just took her on as full employee, so she is doing well again.

My personal work, well I dont want to talk about it... lol

as to your daughter's experience with a giant corporation...... that is pretty much the reason I ended up owning my own business. I started with a giant company and rather than have dreams of climbing the ladder, I just looked at the system and absolutely hated everything about it. I knew I would never be a part of any system where the company game is more important than the products they produce. fuck them.

i'll make my money buying their stocks, but not cashing their paychecks.
