I remember back then you talking about buying into those. From some reason I never did even though I shared your certainty of societal excess/greed/waste combined with governmental fiscal apathy lifting those boats.

Admittedly, it took me some time to figure out what was going on, as I was too ideologically driven. But once I did, I bought in heavily. Looking back, it was a great teaching moment for me in finally realizing that both parties are of the same coin and are driven by money. For a while, all I did was follow former administration officials out the door to see what company or industry they were going into and invest accordingly
