Elon Musk has been involved in a range of innovations across multiple industries, focusing particularly on technology, transportation, and space exploration. Here's a summary of some key innovations:

SpaceX:
Reusable Rockets: SpaceX introduced the concept of reusable rocket technology with the Falcon 9, significantly reducing the cost of space travel by allowing rockets to be landed and reused. This has been pivotal in making space more accessible and economically viable.
Dragon Spacecraft: The Dragon spacecraft became the first commercially built vehicle to carry NASA astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), marking a new era in commercial spaceflight.
Tesla:
Electric Vehicles: Musk has significantly pushed the adoption of electric vehicles with Tesla's Model S, Model 3, and other models. These cars have not only popularized electric cars but also showcased advanced technology in battery life, performance, and autonomous driving features.
Battery Technology: Tesla's advancements in battery technology, particularly with their power pack solutions like the Tesla Powerwall, have made strides in energy storage and sustainable energy use, impacting both automotive and home energy sectors.
Neuralink:
Brain-Computer Interfaces: Neuralink aims to develop ultra-high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces, with the potential to treat neurological conditions, enhance human cognitive abilities, and even interface directly with computers.

The Boring Company:
Underground Tunnel Networks: Musk's vision for alleviating urban traffic congestion through underground tunnels has led to the creation of The Boring Company, which seeks to build networks for high-speed, low-cost transportation.

Hyperloop:
High-Speed Transport: Although not a physical product yet built by Musk's companies, the Hyperloop concept introduced by him proposes a new form of high-speed transport using vacuum tubes to move passengers at near-aircraft speeds.

PayPal (through X.com):
Online Payment Systems: Musk co-founded X.com, which later merged with Confinity to form PayPal, revolutionizing online payments and making digital transactions more accessible to the masses.

Starlink:
Satellite Internet: Through SpaceX, Musk has developed Starlink, a project aimed at providing global broadband internet service from low Earth orbit satellites, promising to connect remote and underserved areas with high-speed internet.

Miscellaneous Innovations:
Musk has also been involved in smaller, yet significant projects like SolarCity (now part of Tesla), focusing on solar energy solutions, and has explored concepts like vertical takeoff and landing electric jets.

Musk's approach often involves not just innovating technology but also integrating different systems or industries in novel ways, like combining energy storage with electric vehicles or envisioning multiplanetary human existence through SpaceX's Mars colonization plans. His innovations are characterized by an aim towards solving large-scale problems with a vision for sustainable and transformative solutions.

Which makes me wonder what Elon gets out of his absolute support of Trump: Elon owns the premier electric vehicle company, and Trump is all "drill!, drill!, drill!" and is after reducing the economic benefits of owning a vehicle like a Tesla.

I've wondered the same thing but you have to remember Elon has his hand in a bunch of stuff. Frankly, at this point I think Tesla is lower on his priority scale than some of his other workings.

Yeah, he's probably more focused on those American defence contracts.

I did know that but I just found it out recently. It surprised me, too. I thought Tesla was just a quaint niche car manufacturer. I am in the Detroit bubble though when it comes to automobiles.

So everyday we have Trunp making outrageous, claims. Invadng Panama, Annexation of Greenland, changing the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. Why does anyone get behind this. As far as I know he was elected to stop inflation, rebound markets and lower interest rates/ groceries/gas prices.

Seriously. How is this legitimate news or is he just trolling with Elon?
