As someone that grew up in the Chicago-land area, I've been a lifelong Cubs fan. Ryne was a great player and person. One of those losses that hits a little harder.
Getting a colonoscopy is great advice. Don't put it off. Not sure if it affected Ryne or not. The article I read said he passed from metastatic prostate cancer.
