I heard on the radio today that the democratic party primary election in Dallas County is going to have 400 names on the ballot and 13 propositions.

This seems like a good opportunity to test the statistical advantage a candidate has if their name comes first on the ballot.

i would be willing to bet that if you polled 1000 random voters in that primary, that 95% of them couldn't tell you one thing about at least half of the people that they voted for. Most voters probably went to vote for one particular person in one race and then just randomly picked every other race.

I consider myself pretty well informed when it comes to that stuff but I freely admit when it gets to the judges and Trustees and other assorted non partisan bullshit I have no clue. No one fucking knows who these people are.
