Okay guys, here's what we'll do.
We'll follow the same format as the football pool back in the old UJ.

- It will be a spread pool.

- Each week we will pick 5 games against the spread.

- Wins, losses and pushes will be tallied. In the event of a tie at the end of the pool, pushes will be used as the tiebreaker.

- Every Tuesday I will post the spreads to be used for that week.

- Every Tuesday I will post an update of the pool standings.

- If you wish to pick a Thursday game you don't need to make your other picks at the same time. You can edit those in later. Don't worry, I'll be paying attention.

- The pool will run all the way to the Super Bowl.

- Obviously, we won't be able to pick 5 games each week during the playoffs, so we will pick every playoff game.

- The winner of the pool will receive this magnificent, fully engraved trophy that you can use to impress your friends and pick up hot MILFs!

Take the caveat out, picking with the spread is as hard as it gets. Picking the same team is no advantage, at all. The better they do the higher Vegas makes the spread.

I spent years in a spread league and we picked 2 best bet games and one three team parlay that all had to win to get those points. People every week put their two best bets into their 3 team parlay and getting a perfecta we called it only happened a couple of times a month. A true perfecta (all 5 teams different) never happened, maybe once a year, if ever.

I think the scoring went

best bet 1 pt each
parlay 3pts
true perfecta gets 3 bonus pts

any push is a loss

- I like Biker's idea of a caveat, so here it is: Any team you win with in one week, you cannot pick in the following week.
Example: If you win with the Cowboys, Bears and 49ers in week 5 you cannot pick the Cowboys, Bears or 49ers in week 6. So, when you're making your picks be mindful of your previous weeks picks.

- Obviously, the caveat will not apply during the playoffs.

- The winner of the pool will receive this magnificent, fully engraved trophy that you can use to impress your friends and pick up hot MILFs!

Jeeeze people... I'm not going to be able to keep everyone happy.

Who wants the caveat and who doesn't? The majority rules.

Well, if we're voting on the caveat I vote "no". We should be able to pick whatever team we think has the best chance of winning regardless.
