Until we learn how to deal with the internet effect, we will not resolve this. Also, there may be something about our system that lends itself to only 2 parties.

The two party system was instituted on, and lives because, emotional wedge issues.

The internet effect, unfortunately, has compounded this drastically.

On social media 'being popular' > 'being factually correct'; and this plays right into the political ideologues hand.

Trump's Ukraine envoy just quit.

Also emerges that the double secret vault where they tried to hide the Ukraine call also contains Saudi and Russkie calls. Remember that Putin meeting where chump took the interpreters notes and swore everyone to secrecy? Let the subpoenas fly

Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman has said she walked in on President Donald Trump eating paper after a meeting with lawyer Michael Cohen, in what she believed was an effort to destroy sensitive information.

CIA changes reporting requirement ton whistleblower form days before release of Trump, allegations.
Between May 2018 and August 2019, the intelligence community secretly eliminated a requirement that whistleblowers provide direct, first-hand knowledge of alleged wrongdoings. This raises questions about the intelligence community’s behavior regarding the August submission of a whistleblower complaint against President Donald Trump. The new complaint document no longer requires potential whistleblowers who wish to have their concerns expedited to Congress to have direct, first-hand knowledge of the alleged wrongdoing that they are reporting.

The brand new version of the whistleblower complaint form, which was not made public until after the transcript of Trump’s July 25 phone call with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and the complaint addressed to Congress were made public, eliminates the first-hand knowledge requirement and allows employees to file whistleblower complaints even if they have zero direct knowledge of underlying evidence and only “heard about [wrongdoing] from others.”

The internal properties of the newly revised “Disclosure of Urgent Concern” form, which the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG) requires to be submitted under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act (ICWPA), show that the document was uploaded on September 24, 2019, at 4:25 p.m., just days before the anti-Trump complaint was declassified and released to the public. The markings on the document state that it was revised in August 2019, but no specific date of revision is disclosed.

Harder to address, though, is the other half of the story—something Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer spoke of in glee, in response to then-president-elect Trump’s criticism of U.S. intelligence agencies. “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer told MSNBC’s host Rachel Maddow.

No idea, doubt it really was. Your source is obviously going to turn out to be some kook nut site or a tweet isn't it? Again, the reporting requirement is statutory and the statute has not been changed.

It would also be entirely irrelevant if the form had been changed btw, since the law allows the whistleblower to write direct to congress if the IG either dismisses the complaint as not credible, or refuses to transmit it himself. 50 USC 3033 (k)(4)(D)(i).

Worse, Townhall and The Federalist, it's no wonder they leave out the source when they deliver this horseshit here.

Looks like the original source is a guy on twitter and it's been picked up by the kook media charlie likes. Trying to get some mileage out of the 'secondhand sources' thing despite the president already admitting his guilt I suppose

Yeah, I’m sure that’s legit
I don't consider Omarosa a legitimate source or person, but it looks like Trump did. At least at one time. Anywho this popped up on my feed so I posted it here.
