All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.

Enjoy your turkey, family and friends.
I'm doing Cornish hens this year. I told the grandkids that everyone gets their own little turkey. They're quite excited about it!

Interesting tidbit:
Since the Lions play on Monday Night Football tonight they will actually be playing two Thanksgiving games.

They're totally psyched about it! There's no fucking way any of them will eat an entire Cornish hen, but I'm going to put a full one on each of their plates anyway.

Oh my God my kid would be in heaven with a whole game hen to pick at. He goes full caveman when it comes to meat on a bone.

We had bbq turkey last night, today I'm using some leftovers tossed with veggies in spicy butter chicken sauce. Should be interesting...

It's super good. And quicker than the oven too, which leaves it moister.

Considering its been a thing since 1578, you must mean Americans celebrate Rape, Pillage and Genocide Day on Canadian Thanksgiving.

what's the cooking procedure. down here a "bbq" turkey would be smoked, which would take longer than an oven. the sauce on it would be what would technically make it bbq.

Well, when I think bbq, I think low and slow. People from other parts of the continent sometimes include grilling, or maybe even deep outdoor deep frying, as bbq.

Yes it was technically smoked. It actually only takes 2-3 hours since it's not stuffed. FJ came over and did it, I think he did a rub and injected it with seasoning for extra flavour.

Yes, we are too busy enjoying not being shot in our homes for playing video games with our nephew to split hairs about whether its BBQed or smoked.

They have to get the cooking festivities in real early before everything is buried under feet of snow.
